My New Device Won't Connect
If you’re having difficulty getting your device to connect to the Wi-Fi, here are some steps you can take to help solve this problem.
I Updated my Android OS and/or JoinNow App, and Now I Can’t Connect
Google’s recent update has made it so applications trying to configure and connect devices to Wi-Fi can no longer do so automatically. This means that SecureW2’s JoinNow App can no longer auto-connect you to Wi-Fi like it did so in the past. While Google has stated that the bug will be fixed soon, for now, you need to ensure a couple extra steps get completed after running the JoinNow App.
I Connected To The Wi-Fi It Keeps Disconnecting
There are a few things that can lead to disconnection from the Wi-FI, here are some steps to take that could help.
I Keep Having To Delete And Reinstall The App
I Pressed “No Thanks” on Wi-Fi Notification
If you pressed “No Thanks” on the “Allow Suggested Wi-Fi” Notification, you prevent the JoinNow Application from being able to configure the Wi-Fi. To fix this, you will need to manually allow the application to enable Wi-Fi in your Android System Settings.
Android 10 Bug: “Allow Suggested Wi-Fi” Notification Doesn’t Pop-up
On select Android 10 devices, the “Allow Suggested Wi-Fi” Notification never shows up, thus preventing the JoinNow Application from being able to configure the Wi-Fi. To fix this, you will need to manually allow the application to enable Wi-Fi in your Android System Settings.
