If your phone is asking you to enter settings when you try to connect to your Wi-Fi, it’s because your Wi-Fi Settings haven’t been updated to receive the Wi-Fi configuration created by the JoinNow app. In the following steps we will show you how to update your Device’s Wi-Fi settings so JoinNow can connect your device to the Wi-FI.

Go to Wi-Fi Settings

If your phone is asking you to enter settings when you try to connect to your Wi-Fi, it’s because your Wi-Fi Settings haven’t been updated to receive the Wi-Fi configuration created by the JoinNow app. To fix this, navigate to Settings and select Wi-Fi.

Forget Your Old Wi-Fi Network

Press and hold the Wi-Fi network you want to remove, so your device can connect to the new Wi-Fi network.

Turn Wi-Fi Off, then On

Restarting the Wi-Fi allows your device to see the new Wi-Fi configuration that’s created by the JoinNow App. Once you turn your Wi-Fi off and on, the secure Wi-Fi network will appear.

Wait for Prompt

Some Android devices may experience a bug where it takes up to 10 seconds for the “Connect to Wi-Fi networks?” prompt. Swipe down your notifications and wait for this prompt to appear. Once the notification appears, press Yes.
